Astrid obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of the Western Cape (UWC).
She went on to earn her Honours Degree in Psychology at UWC. Astrid is a registered Counsellor with the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners). Her experience includes individual, couples and family counselling. Astrid is a compassionate, goal-oriented human being, who believes in change and constant evolution. She believes that through an effective counselling process each individual can unleash their potential and disrupt the version of normal we have grown accustomed to. She strives towards awareness of survival mode, healing and improving life one session at a time.

Liesel obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). She went on to earn her Honours degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
Liesel is a registered Counsellor with the ASCHP (ASSOCIATION FOR SUPPORTIVE COUNSELLORS
AND HOLISTIC PRACTITIONERS).Her experience includes individual , couples, trauma , family and group counselling.
Known for her kind and compassionate nature, Liesel creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, emotionally supported, and physically secure.

Yadia has always had a listening ear. Registered with the ASCHP, as a Specialist Wellness Counsellor, her focus areas include individuals, couples, family, trauma, anxiety, stress, employee wellness, burnout and fertility. She holds a BCom Honours in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and completed her practical modules with Counselling Matters Training.
She is approachable and magnetic. Her aim is to help clients persevere through everyday difficulties and aspire to reach a oneness within the bounds of mind, body and soul.

Alicia Oosthuizen is a Clinical Social Worker and subject specialist in the social sciences field. Her greatest passion lies in training and development, where she combines theory and practice to empower others to make a meaningful difference in the counselling and helping professions.
Alicia has over 20 years of experience in the counselling field. She has worked with children, teenagers, couples, and families, and is currently part of the Meraki Counselling Practice in Johannesburg North.
Alicia has extensive experience in training and facilitation, and has been a guest lecturer at both the University of Cape Town and the University of Johannesburg. She has also provided supervision to social work students at UCT, UJ, and Wits University.
She has developed training material for various programmes for NACOSA, including Child and Youth Care, Basic Counselling, and Mental Health Literacy. Alicia is the co-owner of Counselling Matters Training and is currently pursuing her PhD at North-West University. In addition, she is an Accredited Enneagram Practitioner and a qualified, accredited assessor and facilitator with HWSETA.
