E-VOLVE Counselling Course

The E-VOLVE course will equip you with a useful theoretical foundation and/or practical foundation to use in counselling.

We go above and beyond mere theoretical work and provide you with skills to utilise in your practice.

Our E-VOLVE course enables you to obtain all the necessary theoretical and practical hours needed to register with the ASCHP, a SAQA accredited professional body, and work as a supportive, holistic, wellness or specialist wellness counsellor.

If I complete the E-VOLVE course what type of counsellor can I register as?

If you have an NQF 4 qualification ( or matric ) you can complete the full E-VOLVE course with the practical module and register with the ASCHP as a support counsellor.

If you have an NQF 5 qualification ( a higher certificate ) you can complete our full E-VOLVE course with the practical module and register with the ASCHP as a holistic counsellor.

If you have a bachelor's degree in psychology ( or related ) you can complete the full E-VOLVE course with the practical module and can register as a wellness counsellor with the ASCHP.

If you have an honours degree in psychology ( or related ) You can complete the full E-VOLVE course with a practical module and register as a specialist wellness counsellor with ASCHP.

If you already have theoretical hours, you can add to your hours by choosing any of the courses below to build towards your 240 hours of theoretical training required for registration with the ASCHP.

How does it work?

Theoretical Hours

You can choose all or any of the following modules to make up your 240 theoretical hours required to register with the ASCHP.

Addiction counselling and mental health ( 40 HRS )

Practical Hours

Our practical module is aimed at providing you with placements at one of our NGO partners, supervision, supportive contact sessions, workshops and more.

70 Hours practical at an NGO

30 hours practical supervision, supportive contact sessions, workshops, role plays, discussions etc.
